The University of Edinburgh comprises several groups of buildings on the West side of the hill known as “Arthur’s Seat”, on both sides of Nicholson Street from the Pollock Halls of Residence in the south, up to the Education Buildings a bit more north. The main campus buildings including the administration complex, are found around George Square, as are the expansive green fields knows as the Meadows. The University of Edinburgh offers a full list of undergraduate programmes in its three college structure. There are more than twenty schools at the University of Edinburgh, including schools of law, architecture, medicine, business, divinity, engineering, informatics, and veterinary studies. University of Edinburgh students have easy access to the city centre through a comprehensive public transport network. One of Scotland’s main transport hubs, Waverley Station, is close by.
